Terms of Service for Motii

By downloading, installing, or using the Motii mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Use of the App

Motii is intended for personal, non-commercial use to help users set and track personal intentions. You agree not to misuse the App, and you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App.

No Medical Claims: Motii and its AI-narrated audio stories are not health treatment, medical advice, or therapy. They are intended for personal reflection and motivation only. Do not rely on Motii as a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic care.

User-Generated Content: Any text, audio, or stories generated by Motii are created by AI based solely on your own written intentions. You retain ownership of your intentions; we retain no rights to your personal data or generated content beyond operating the service.

Motii Premium Subscription

Motii Premium unlocks AI-narrated audio stories generated from your intentions. The subscription is offered at $4.99/month or $49.99/year and auto-renews at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Through Apple In-App Purchase: Premium is available on iOS via Apple App Store and managed through your Apple Account settings. The monthly plan includes a 14-day free trial. All payments are processed by Apple; we do not handle payment information directly.

Web Subscription: For US customers, Premium is also available at motii.me. Web payments are processed by RevenueCat (merchant of record) via Stripe. Web subscriptions are managed through Motii and may be cancelled by contacting support. Tax may be added at checkout based on your location.

Cancellations through Apple are managed via your Apple Account; for web subscriptions, contact us at themotiiapp@gmail.com to cancel.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Motii to create, share, or transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove content that violates these Terms.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Motii and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Motii shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will function uninterrupted or error-free, nor do we guarantee any specific outcome or result from using the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time and for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by other means. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
